Nutrition

When you’re working hard to sculpt and tone your body, the workout is only half the journey. What you eat is equally important, if not more so. You may feel discouraged by restrictive diets. However, our meal planning service focuses on fueling your body with foods you will enjoy. Indulge in healthy alternatives without taking away from all the hard work you’ve been putting in so far.

Today, we have separated ourselves from other fitness centers, by providing a clean, fun, enthusiastic environment. For our members, it means a place where they feel pleasant and comfortable. It also means a place where our members want to spend their time and experiencing a feeling of trustworthiness, piece of mind and security.

Does This Mean a Carb-Free Life?

We do not believe a carb-free diet is necessary for you to get toned and strong. This is an unhealthy fad pushed by magazines for way too long. According to WebMD, dieticians and doctors do not approve of high-protein and low-carb diets. While they may help to provide short-term results, they are not sustainable. Instead, focus on maintaining balanced and easy diet plans, eating on time, and drinking enough water.

How Much Water Do You Need?

WebMD recommends that men drink about 3 liters of water per day, while women should aim for about 2 liters. On the days you work out, you may need more water to replenish what you lose through sweating. Water can come from many other sources. This includes coffee, fruits, and cereal. If you’re trying to cut down on calories, however, try to drink plain water whenever possible. If you’re in need of a recovery boost, some experts recommend chocolate milk.

What Are Yummy but Healthy Foods?

We all get that sweet tooth or the need to snack on something salty from time to time. In some people, it may be much stronger than in others. Here is a list of some of the nutrients you need and the delicious foods that provide them:

  • Healthy fats, such as olives, avocado, nuts and seeds
  • Protein-rich foods, such as seafood, beans, eggs, and tofu
  • Healthy carbohydrates made from whole grain, such as pasta and tacos
  • Vitamin C from brightly colored fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes

Overall, eating a more plant-based diet is considered healthier, even if you do continue to eat meat, chicken, and fish. Try to stay away from processed foods as much as possible.
